TAMILNADU PREMIER LEAGUE 2024

It was a wonderful opportunity given by our management to Anna Adarsh -IX & X students to watch the live TNPL Cricket match from the gallery allocated for us at Chepauk stadium. The students felt grateful to the management for creating an excellent experience .

INFINITE & LITERARY CLUB:

The literary club competition is conducted for the students VI,VII and VII on 03-08-2024.The students showcase their creativity and language skills by dressing up in costumes related to their chosen topics.The competition helped the students to develop their language skills ,creativity and expression.It encourage their creativity and self-expression among the students.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY

The investiture ceremony of Anna Adarsh Matric Hr. Sec. School had a grand start as the school band echoed the arrival of the dignitaries.

The elected council members marched to present themselves prepared to don the mantle of leadership.

The dignitaries, the Chief Guest Shri. Rajesh Trikha IRS Deputy Commissioner - Customs, Guest of Honour Ms Bhavani Shree, an alumna of Anna Adarsh, Shri Praveen K Mehra Chairman - Education, Shri Amit Bhalla Co Chairman - Education, Shri Sanjay Chopra Member In Charge, Academic Head Sec & Sr. Sec Mrs. Uma Parvathi, the Principal Mrs Sasirekha B and Mrs Monisha R Vice Principal lit the lamp to announce the opening of the ceremony followed by prayer.

The words of wisdom on the dias by the galaxy of panjandrum drew the attention of the audience in awe.

The elected members received the badges and took the pledge to relinquish the duties and responsibilities.

The Ex School Pupil Leader Sailakshna of the previous batch presented a token of gratitude to the school which was received by Praveen K Mehra Chairman - Education, Shri Amit Bhalla Co Chairman - Education and Shri Sanjay Chopra Member in Charge and handed over to the Principal Mrs Sasirekha B. Mrs Shakila R Senior teacher motivated the students with her speech. The ceremony was held with lots of zeal and zest and concluded with the National Anthem.

KAMARAJAR DAY

Every year Kamarajar’s birthday is celebrated as Educational Development Day on July 15 to acknowledge his contribution in Educating all the Children. As Chief Minister, Kamaraj removed the family vocation based Hereditary Education Policy introduced by Rajaji. New schools were opened, so that poor rural students had to walk no more than three kilometers to their nearest school. Better facilities were added to existing ones. No village remained without a primary school and no panchayat without a high school.

Happy International Yoga Day! "May your mind be calm, your body be fit, and your spirit be strong" - is the slogan of Yoga day.

To achieve a calm mind and healthy body yoga practice should be an essential part of our life. International yoga day was celebrated at Anna Adarsh to emphasize the importance of yoga.
